Skateworld’s number one focus is keeping our skaters and guests safe. By providing rental skates in quality condition, selling top of the line skates in our skate shop, and directing traffic with our floor guards, we are able to help keep the skating rink safe for you and your kids. If you have any medical or safety concerns while visiting us, please notify a staff member immediately!
Everyone who enters Skateworld skates and plays at their own risk. Please make sure to skate slowly and carefully in the regular skating direction, follow the DJ/skate guards instructions, and do not carry children while you are on skates. Skateworld is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
Food and Drinks
No outside food or drinks allowed. This includes cakes and other party food unless you have booked a party package with us. Food is available for purchase at our snack bar. Guests are welcome to bring their own water bottle and refill at our water fountain if needed. All food and drink must remain off the skating floor.
Skateworld is not a childcare facility. Children 11 and under are required to have an adult chaperone. Parents/guardians assume full responsibility and liability for children while on the premises. Lack of adequate adult supervision of children is grounds for immediate removal from the rink without refund and may be grounds for revoking any rink memberships.
Skateworld reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. Disruptive, disrespectful and/or abusive behavior may result in your being asked to leave the rink immediately without refund, and may be grounds for revoking any rink memberships.
In order to keep prices low we do not allow in and outs or re-entry. Be sure to remember your wallet, socks, and other items you might need to roller skate. There is no time limit during Public Skate sessions, so if you want to stay from 10am-10pm on a Saturday you can, but once you exit the building, you leave for the day.
Drugs & Alcohol
Skateworld is a family friendly skating rink with safety on skates being the upmost importance. Anyone who appears under the influence will not be allowed on roller skates.
Though safety gear is not required it is strongly recommended. A helmet, wrist guards, elbow pads, and knee pads are standard for skaters and roller derby players. We sell affordable options in our Skate Shop in most sizes.
Visitors may be filmed, photographed, or recorded by Skateworld for promotional uses, including for posting on Skateworld's website and social media platforms. Please inform a manager if you prefer not to be photographed.
